The first student to participate in the internship agreement between ENC and BIDMC gets hired

Eastern Nazarene College and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center has brokered a formal internship agreement that started in the spring of 2021 and extends for a five year period. Under the terms of the agreement, an ENC Life Science student is accepted for an internship position every semester to work as a Cancer Clinical Research intern. The first student to participate in this competitive program was Eva Montrond (B.A. Biology '21) from Dorchester, Massachusetts. As expected, she shined in this role and thoroughly enjoyed her work. After being interviewed for an opening in the department that she had interned in, she was offered a full time position. We are very pleased that she will graduate from ENC and immediately enter the work force at one of world's best hospitals, right here in Boston. We are very proud of her hard work and anticipate wonderful things in her future. Eva plans on attending medical school, which her job at BIDMC will prepare her well for. If you are interested in participating in this highly valuable internship opportunity, please send a resume and cover letter to robert.logan@enc.edu for consideration. We are now inviting students to apply for fall of 2021.
